Erik's drink of choice ...
Inspired by the fabulous pin-up work of Ralph Burch (check it out here
[link] if you're unfamiliar), I drew the lineart ages ago, back when I was planning to do a bunch of other Broadway heroines. But that's probably not going to happen now. Christine was the first in line--the title came naturally, and looking at the Hannibal ballet costume, I thought she would fit right in with Burch's other martini girls. Although I'm stumped at what would actually go into a Martini Daaé.

I did not draw the rose; it's a blurred free photograph. As if I would be that ambitious! The glass was definitely the hardest part to paint on PS (I'm still working with a mouse, too). There are definately some significant proportion issues, but that's to be expected from me by now, without drawing from a source image. I'm hoping eventually to try and resolve that before printing it up as a gift.
This portrayal of Christine is (c) Leroux/Lloyd Webber, etc...
Hand-drawn lineart, all colour PhotoShop CS3.
As for the Swedish part, Absolut Vodka might work. It's made in Sweden, after all.
Love the caption
This could go on forever...
